This sculpture is a sort of hybrid form based on artificial reef structures. These are man made structures that become surrogate homes for undersea life. Some are planned and some are not. Live Rock is a pneumatic sculpture that was commissioned by the Bedford Gallery for their exhibition Blow Up.
